रामकृष्ण परमहंश जब सात वर्ष के थे तब ही उनके पिता का स्वर्गवास हो गया था और उनके पिता के जाने के वाद घर की जिमेवारी उनके बड़े भाई रामकुमार जी के ऊपर आ गया था। -रामकृष्ण परमहंश

जब हवा चलने लगी तो पंखा छोड़ देना चाहिए पर जब ईश्वर की कृपा दृष्टि होने लगे तो प्रार्थना तपस्या नहीँ छोड़नी चाहिए -रामकृष्ण परमहंश
